Daniel Marshall knows what he's doing when it comes to humidors. He has recently transitioned into the world of premium cigars with the help of Manuel Quesada, maker of the 93-rated Casa Magna. Let us be the first to tell you that things are looking good! Dressed in a 5-year-old Nicaraguan Habano wrapper, the Red Label also features a Nicaraguan binder and a bold blend of Nicaraguan long-fillers from Jalapa and Esteli.

This cigar is loaded with enjoyable flavors that you instantly want more of. Right away you're hit with sweet wood, nut, spicy black pepper, coffee and rich chocolate. During the 1st third of the cigar the spice really starts to build in your mouth. As you make your way to the 2nd third the spice slowly starts to fade and the chocolate, coffee, sweet wood, and nut start to really intensify. Around this time you're also introduced to subtle damp tobacco notes. By the 3rd third of the cigar the spice is almost completely gone and you're left with wood, coffee, and earthy tobacco. It's a very fun journey through all of these enjoyable flavors!

Pictures don't do this cigar justice; the wrapper is a very rustic looking dark brown with a reddish tint. It fades to light and dark spots throughout the wrapper. It almost looks like a stained wood humidor, fitting right? The wrapper is very thick; watching it burn is a very enjoyable experience, especially since it burns perfectly even. The smoke is thick and bright white with a cedary aroma. The firm ash holds on for about an inch effortlessly. If you're looking for a good looking, great tasting cigar that's constructed perfectly then its time you try out the Red Label.

Humidor: A humidor is an absolute must for any cigar connoisseur. This is where you keep your cigars to insure they don't dry out. Even the best cigar will taste terrible if it isn't properly humidified. Click here to learn more about humidors.

Cutter: In order to smoke a cigar you're going to need to cut off the tip in order to draw in air and smoke. There are a few different styles of cutters out there to choose from. Click here to learn more about them.

Lighter: Don't make the mistake of using just any lighter on a cigar. You must use a butane lighter! Lighters containing regular lighter fluid will ruin the taste of your cigars. You spent time and money picking out the perfect cigar, don't ruin it with the wrong lighter. Click here to learn more about lighters.
