You can never go wrong with an Arturo Fuente cigar. The Fuente family carefully ferments and ages tobaccos, specially selected from only the best crop years. This highly sought after cigar is handmade by only the most experienced cigar makers, each of whom are limited to only 75 cigars per day. The Arturo Fuente Hemingway is aged for six months to fully enhance the flavor and aroma in cedar lined aging rooms.

The Arturo Fuente Hemingway is made from a blend of vintage Dominican filler tobaccos and very delicate African Cameroon wrappers. The Perfecto shape of the cigar is very special to Fuente family: "As a child I was fascinated with that shape and the really difficult art of the craft that the Perfecto cigar represents. So when we first came to the Dominican Republic in 1980, I thought we should start making those shapes again. At that time nobody was making shaped cigars. I wanted to bring back that old world style just to keep the art, the tradition, the craft, alive." - Carlos Fuente

So what does a cigar with this much character taste like? At the beginning it starts sweet and nutty with some very subtle notes of damp earth, cedar, and creamy coffee. The finish has a hint of spice that gradually builds as you continue through the cigar. This is a no nonsense cigar that works great as an everyday smoker.

When you buy an Arturo Fuente cigar you know you're getting one of the highest quality cigars on the market and this Hemingway is no exception. It has a perfect burn, draw, and construction as expected with any Fuente. And did we mention it looks awesome? Do yourself a favor and add a box of these to your humidor today.

Arturo Fuente is a brand of cigar, founded by Arturo Fuente, Sr. in 1912 in West Tampa, Florida. Following a catastrophic fire in 1924, the brand ceased production for 22 years, reemerging in 1946 on a limited, local basis. Ownership was transferred to Arturo's younger son, Carlos Fuente, Sr. in 1958. Following the 1960 United States embargo of Cuba, the Fuente brand began a period of slow and steady growth, emerging as one of the most critically acclaimed makers of hand-rolled premium cigars outside of Cuba. As of 2010 the company was producing 30 million cigars per annum from its factory in the Dominican Republic.

Posted on their website is the quote "We will never rush the hands of time." Why is this so important? Because creating the best possible cigars always requires patience. Arturo Fuente understands this and that's why they're one of the most respected brands of all time.

Humidor: A humidor is an absolute must for any cigar connoisseur. This is where you keep your cigars to insure they don't dry out. Even the best cigar will taste terrible if it isn't properly humidified. Click here to learn more about humidors.

Cutter: In order to smoke a cigar you're going to need to cut off the tip in order to draw in air and smoke. There are a few different styles of cutters out there to choose from. Click here to learn more about them.

Lighter: Don't make the mistake of using just any lighter on a cigar. You must use a butane lighter! Lighters containing regular lighter fluid will ruin the taste of your cigars. You spent time and money picking out the perfect cigar, don't ruin it with the wrong lighter. Click here to learn more about lighters.
